Foam rollers area effective equipment for reducing tension, increase muscle length for either a warm-up or post-exercise recovery. Using foam rollers reduces muscle tension . To use a foam roller, you slowly roll an area of your body back and forth across the top of the roller. Figure out your most problematic areas and target them directly with some foam rolling exercises, like the ones here.

Some benefits of foam rolling: helps reduce soreness after an exercise to speed up the recovery process, helps increase blood flow, and reduces injury and improves posture.
