What a great meet! Swimmers and parents had sweatshirts or were wrapped in towels through the cold spells that held off the evening storms. Even with a little rain, the team was incredibly lucky that the weather turned out the way it did. They were able to finish the meet and had some amazing swims!

This all led to Riverwood’s first Divisional Win, bringing their record to 2-1. The team has officially started their journey toward Division 5 Domination!

Individual Results and Improvement

High walls, a very shallow pool, and some strange-looking blocks made it difficult for most swimmers to compete at their best. Despite those challenges, the team still achieved a 30% improvement across the board. The coaches were thrilled with the results and the individual swims!

Triple Winners (Ages 7–18): Adair Barnes (who also celebrated a birthday!), Elijah Hammons, Ethan Leonhardt, and Logan Yarborough. Double Winner (Ages 6 & Under): Allison Payton.

Most Improved Swimmers: (Those who improved on all of their individual times) Caiden Warren, Daniella Wyllins, Cooper Yarborough, Josie Mattocks, and Joshua Nelson.

Riverwood’s next meet will take place at home on Tuesday, June 30th against Bedford.
