The swim meet against the Durant Trail Typhoons was the Riverwood Rays’ final home meet of the 2026 summer season. Although stormy weather forced an early end to the meet, the teams reached the necessary point to declare an official winner based on league rules. The Rays emerged victorious, bringing their overall record to 4-1 and their divisional record to 2-0.
The coaches and leadership are incredibly proud of the swimmers and volunteers for handling the weather and pushing through the required events to secure the finish.
The Rays finished the meet with a winning score of 222 to 148. Riverwood steadily grew its lead throughout the events, controlling the team score from start to finish.
The swimmers delivered another great effort, and the coaches are seeing noticeable improvements in consistency and confidence across the entire team. Out of 212 individual swims, the team recorded 66 personal bests—a 31% improvement rate.
A special thanks goes out to all the volunteers for their amazing work and dedication at every meet.
