Andrew Johnson enters his 9th season leading the Riverwood Rays as Head Coach. He is only the second person to serve as the Head Coach of the Riverwood Rays. Andrew is also a swim instructor at H&L Swim Academy.
His path in the sport began in summer league at age seven. He eventually joined the Marlins of Raleigh (MOR) at fourteen, which paved the way for his collegiate career at East Carolina University.
Andrew finds great joy in working with athletes of every age and ability, focusing significantly on developing refined technical skills. Utilizing his extensive background on the pool deck, he is committed to helping every swimmer achieve their individual goals while fostering a love for the sport.
