The Riverwood Rays’ first Home Meet against the Heritage Betas was a huge success. The weather was great, concessions were a hit, and the swimmers won so many races! The cheering section was electric! Special shout out to first-time stroke and turn judge Susan Barkley and first-time starter Bob Manard!

The hard work each and every swimmer is showing in practice every day is already paying off. You can see it in the meet results and the individual improvement. The Riverwood Rays had 93 swimmers with 277 individual swims. Out of those 277 swims, 139 were even faster than the previous week. That is a 50% improvement again within a week of practice!
The team had four Triple Winners in the 7 to 18 age group and 1 Double Winner in the 6 and Under age group. Congratulations to the triple winners Carlee Davis, Carson Tilghman, Caleb Uscio, and Cooper Yarborough! Also, congratulations to double winner, Allison Payton!
Most Improved swimmers are those who improved on all of their swims. They include Mayah Barkley, Carlee Davis, Savannah Egan, Asher Hans, Lili Howlett, Mackenzie Leonhardt, Owen Mason, Mason Matessa, Bradley O’Brien, Avery Perdue, Graceyn Seese, David Statum, David Strunsky, Carson Tilghman, Hudson Willis, Cooper Yarborough, Amelia Alejo, Leighton Matte, and Allison Payton!
The Riverwood Rays’ next meet on Tuesday, June 23rd is away against Summerfield North.
