Exercise/Stability Ball

Stability balls — also called exercise balls are one of my favorite pieces of equipment. Stability ball exercises challenge your balance and force your body to fire-up those core muscles — making it a great addition to any routine!

When you sit on the ball, your knees should form a right angle while your thighs run parallel to the floor. A properly sized stability ball should allow you to sit at a desk as comfortably as a typical office chair does. To stay on the ball—literally—you’re forced to engage all your muscles, which builds strength and improves stability. Incorporating a stability ball in your workout routine comes with many health benefits. You will be able to strengthen your core, improve your balance, coordination, and flexibility while relieving some complications related to your back and spin.

Your workout options with stability balls are endless. Thanks to the added challenge they provide, even the most basic moves like squatspush-ups, and planks will leave you feeling stronger.
